TheInvictus Turntable Reference was initially created as an evolution of our Invictus Signal Reference, specifically optimized for use with turntables. We took an already extremely popular cable as a base and refined it to meet the specific needs of vinyl. This optimization work allowed us to further improve the sonic performance, maintaining the excellent transparency, balance and depth, but adapting it to a system that requires maximum precision in analog signal handling.
There are three main improvements over the previous version. We increased the conductor to optimize analog signal transmission. In addition, a double dielectric has been integrated with two innovative R-TEC polymers, capable of further reducing electrical capacitance. Finally, the shielding has been enhanced to provide even greater protection from external interference, thus ensuring even cleaner and more accurate sound.

The conductor of theInvictus Turntable Reference has been increased by 13% compared to the previous version: it now uses 0.64 mmยฒ conductors as opposed to the previous 0.57 mmยฒ, still made of 7N MARC Copper with strands 0.08 mm, characterized by a smoother and more compact surface. These strands offer 70% higher audio transmission than OFC Copper, providing exceptional sound quality.

The new generation R-TEC double dielectric was specifically designed for the Turntable Reference. Unlike the Signal Reference, this dielectric has been optimized to fit the particular needs of the turntable, allowing a 20 percent reduction in electrical capacitance compared to its predecessor and an almost complete elimination of background noise.
Listen to it now, but wait to judge: for the Turntable Reference, cable break-in is essential. This dielectric reaches maximum efficiency after at least 100 hours of polarization, which occurs as the low-voltage electrical signal (audio signal) passes through, making the sound experience increasingly accurate and detailed over time.

Copper OFC Connectors +40% over Brass: Our proprietary oversized connectors, with Copper OFC contacts and non-magnetic, anti-interference alloy shell, offer over 40% improvement in electrical parameters over standard brass connectors. These connectors are 24K Gold plated through a specific Gold/Copper electrolysis technique, ensuring exceptional conductivity.
RNR Technology (Ricable Noise Reduction): Thanks to a Germanium semiconductor present on all conductors, the system cuts down background noise and hiss generated by audio media, improving sound performance. This results in a more detailed and brighter sound while maintaining a natural and balanced timbre.
Phono geometry with triple Copper/Aluminum/Magnesium shielding: Advanced shielding protects the signal from EMI/RFI interference, ensuring clean and precise transmission. Insulating materials used, such as special polyethylenes and innovative R-TEC polymers, reduce electrical capacitance and resistance, improving audio signal support and optimizing sound performance for analog turntable systems.
In addition, we have retained the ground wire for grounding, thus ensuring a stable and noise-free connection, as well as perfect compatibility with all types of phonographic cartridges, both MM and MC, ensuring excellent performance with any system.

On first listening, what struck me most was the nice full but fast and controlled bass, and the really good instrument dislocation, healthy and very pleasant timbre, good transparency and neutrality.
The cable was remarkably balanced, with prominent midrange and slight attenuation at the extremes. In my opinion it is very suitable for classical and small jazz ensemble listening.
