Liquid music is now an integral part of the Hi-Fi world and, day by day, because of its peculiarities, it climbs more and more to the top of audiophiles' favorite sources. Equipping one's system with an excellent USB cable allows one to maximize the digital interconnection between the computer and the converter.
Invictus USB was conceived and designed without limits, with the sole objective of making the best USB cable imaginable. To do this, we focused exclusively on the result: that of achieving the best possible transport of a digital signal. To do this, we wanted to best separate the signal intended for data from the power signal by means of innovative shielding and insulation. This intent led us to elaborate a very important cable in terms of dimensions, which had to have as terminals equally high-performance connectors, in order not to nullify the work done on the cable.
The sound output is characterized by extreme reproductive naturalness with control throughout the audio range at the highest level. Invictus USB is a very revealing cable, which is why it is the preserve of high-performance systems, as it is able to carry any digital detail to perfection and to completely abate noise and interference that creeps into this type of connection.
When it comes to USB cables, the "material" carried is the bit, that is, computer data. So although our cables are specifically for Audio, we performed precisely purely computer tests to understand the limit of our artifact. As with all digital cables, length is an enemy, and the USB 2.0 specification certifies signal transport with lengths between source and receiver devices of no more than 5 m. TheInvictus USB goes far beyond these distances and could compete in some length records. We have made cables much longer than will ever be needed in Audio and performed connection tests with a Hi-Fi DAC with 96 kHz audio files and a very simple passive pen drive.
The result, a result of the inherent quality ofInvictus USB, is impressive. We were able to connect the DAC up to a distance of 35 meters, playing 96 kHz files. With passive peripheral, which has no auxiliary power supply and has to receive the one needed to work just from the cable, we reached 30 meters connected to a direct USB port on the PC. If we consider that USB cables on the market, for distances over 5 meters, must be equipped with one or more boosters, we understand from these tests the extreme ability of Invictus USB to transport computer data from one point to another.
Invictus USB is entirely designed in Ricable, starting with the cable and ending with the connectors. But what does this impressive cable look like? To have ideal electrical characteristics and at the same time perfect insulation, we designed an asymmetrical geometry with concentric conductors for data and parallel conductors for power. In this way we achieved the least possible influence of the power supply on the data. Of course, the highlight is the insulation with a double R-TEC dielectric for data and a cylinder system called RCS (Ricable Cylinder System) that allows maximum insulation and reduces the effect of shields on electrical capacitance. Finally, we brought in the multiple shields (5 in all) and an innovative Germanium Noise Reduction (RNR System).
The goal, perfectly hit, was to make a USB cable with correct impedance, low capacitance, low resistance and perfect shielding. From these assumptions came a very complex manufacturing geometry that, thanks to its balance, allowed us to obtain resounding results for this product, which oozes craftsmanship even from the connector, designed to best insulate the contact parts and to support this spectacular cable.
This Hi-Fi cable is made strictly by hand, in an artisanal manner, so we can also produce it in custom length, exactly as you would like it for your system.

[...] Invictus USB fully met my expectations making listening to "liquid" music much more satisfying. I am sure that the Magnus and Dedalus versions would still have provided benefits as well, but having other cables in the Invictus category, I preferred theInvictus USB.

The test that most convinced me [...] was with a Guns N' Roses song, Paradise City. When there are at first the various guitars playing together, with the various cables, they were fused together, hardly distinguishable, with the Ricable cable now they are close together, they sound in unison, but like two separate instruments.

With theInvictus you get to turn up the volume a little more. Basically after three weeks I find myself with a more natural sound, a slightly more backward soundstage than I was used to but more open, listening fatigue has decreased. I decided to keep the Ricable Invictus !
