What made you choose Ricable?

The world of audiophilia is a continuous refinement in search of sound perfection (depending on one's ears and tastes). I did numerous tests and DIYs of cables, read many reviews, and then decided to test the quality of Ricable products that have very flattering feedback.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics
of the product?

The products are solid, well made and elegant, and the connections are perfect. I don't think the cables improve sound quality, but they certainly can degrade it. The Ricable cables immediately impressed me because with their replacement I began to hear details that I did not hear before; I asked other enthusiasts to listen to the differences between old and new and they all confirmed my impressions.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

I have a selection of test tracks that has grown over time, I have heard and heard the same track again and again substituting old and new cables, and I confirm that with the Ricable cables I can hear sonic details that I could not hear before. It seems to me that the whole is more coherent and the "soundstage" wider. Evidently with the new cables there is no more INTERCONNECT degradation in audio transfers.

What were your
listening impressions?

I was struck by the purity of sound that with the Ricable cables my system is able to express more. I have always been a bit skeptical that cables can make big differences, but I had to change my mind, and the purchase of the Ricable RCA and USB cables has fully satisfied me. I don't think the cables need break-in or can improve the sound, but these cables fully do their job and that is to transfer without degradation all the sound quality between DAC and amplifier. I hear primarily rock and jazz.

Your conclusions.

For enthusiasts who seek build quality and want degradation-free sound listening, I recommend the purchase of the Magnus Signal Hi-End RCA cable for the DAC-Amplifier connection and the Dedalus USB A/B cable for the connection between Network Player and DAC. I always try to balance quality and purchase price and in this case I am fully satisfied with my choice.
