The following review of Invictus Speaker Reference MKII, USB, AES/EBU and XLR cables is the result of theRicable Review initiative. Hatte viele Hersteller probiert und gekauft. Einige waren gut andere schlecht. Dennoch fehlte mir einfach noch das gewisse Etwas. Per Zufall auf Ricable gestossen. Ein kleines Kabel gekauft was schon toll war undmich schlussendlich dazu entschieden bei dem Hersteller zubleiben. Hatte mit Magnus angefangen was mir aber nicht so das einbrachte was ich mir eben vorstellte,und bin dann zu Dedalus umgestiegen was schon sehr gut und luftig war.
und Ästhetik des Produkts?
Die Kabeln sind sehr gut verarbeitet. Stabil und fest. Ein wenig zu sehr steif durch begrenzte Anschlussmöglichkeiten wiederum was bei anderen nicht der Fall sein muss. Die anschlüsse ich habe Bananensteckern sind sehr gut, besonders die der Lautsprecherkabeln was meiner Meinung nach eine Inovation ist. Die Anschlüsse werden dabei eingesteckt und zugeschraubt was einen sehr soliden Halt bringt.
Hatte vorher viele Kabeln von einigen Herstellern die zwischen billig und teuer waren. Da ich nur noch Digital von Festplatte Musik abspiele die alle in FLAC aufgenommen sind und der WIIM Streamer meiner Meinung nach auch sehr gut ist, auch nur HiRes Dateien abspielt, passe ich da sehr drauf auf dass die Aufnahmen wenn möglich auch das herüber bringen. Da ioch keine Schallplatten höre ist mir das sehr wichtig, dass meine Anlage das auch herüber bringt. Da ist ohne Zweifel gute Kabeln Voraussetzung.
Höreindrücke?
Sehr detailreich was mir persönlich gut gefällt. Sehr basslagerig. Besonderes Das USB-Kabel und Lautsprecherkabel. Was wiederum eine weite Bühne erzeugt. Das USB kabel das ich an den Matrix angeschlossen habe via Hiby R4 und das Aes/Ebu Kabel erzeugt einen sehr detailreichen weiten Bühnen Effekt. Die Xlr Kabel die ich an Die Quad pre und Stereo angeschlossen habe wiederum geben die volle Wiedergabe der Verstärker zurück ohne sich zu sehr hervor zu heben. Was mit den Lautsprecherkabeln alles wunderbar umrundet. Die Lautsprecherkabeln hatte ich von TCI Phyton 2. Die waren sehr sehr gut. Aber als ich die ganzen Kabeln von der Invictus Serie augetauscht hatte, musste ich die Lautsprecherkabeln Invictus probieren. Mit der Rückgabe Garantie war das kein Problem, sollte sich herausstellen dass irgendwas doch nicht zusammen passen sollte. Was natürlich nicht so war. Und ich sehr glücklich bin diesen Hersteller gefunden und auch die Invictus gekauft zu haben.
Ihre Schlussfolgerungen.
Hatte vorher etliche Markenkabel und danach die Dedalus Serie die schon sehr gut war. Aber die Invictus setzen dem ganzen nochmal die Krone auf. Teuerer ohne Zweifel, aber wenn man doch zu einem Abschluss kommen will führt kein Weg vorbei an der Invictus Serie. Sehr hervoheben muss ich dass Ricable die Kabeln zurücknehmen vorausgesetzt man kauft die höhere Serie. Was einzigartig ist. Andere Hersteller machen das nicht.

I tried and purchased many manufacturers. Some were good, some less so. However, I still lacked that extra something. By chance I came across Ricable. I purchased a small cable that was already great and finally decided to stay with this manufacturer. I started with Magnus, but it did not give me exactly what I expected, so I switched to Dedalus, which was already very good and airy.
and aesthetics of the product?
The cables are very well made: stable and solid. However, they are a bit too stiff, which may limit connection possibilities, although this may not be a problem with other cables. The banana plugs that I have are very good, especially the ones on the speaker cables, which in my opinion are an innovation. The connectors are inserted and screwed in, thus providing a very solid attachment.
In the past I have had many cables from different manufacturers, with prices ranging from cheap to expensive. Since I now listen to music only digitally from hard disk, with files all in FLAC format, and since my WIIM streamer, in my opinion, is very good and plays only Hi-Res files, I pay close attention so that the recordings convey their quality as best as possible. Since I do not listen to vinyls, it is crucial for me that my system performs at its best. Without a doubt, having good cables is a prerequisite.
listening impressions?
Very detailed, which I personally like. It has a strong bass presence, especially the USB cable and speaker cables, which create a very wide soundstage.
The USB cable, which I connected to the Matrix via Hiby R4, along with the AES/EBU cable, generates a very detailed and spacious soundstage effect. The XLR cables, on the other hand, connected to the preamplifier and Quad stereo amplifier, return the full quality of reproduction without overemphasizing any frequency. This is perfectly complemented by the speaker cables.
Previously, I was using TCI Python 2s, which were really good. However, after replacing all my cables with those from the Invictus series, I also wanted to try speaker cables from the same series. Thanks to the return guarantee, there was no problem in case something turned out not to be compatible, but fortunately that was not the case. I am really glad I discovered this manufacturer and purchased the Invictus cables.
Your conclusions.
In the past I have tried numerous brand-name cables and later the Dedalus series, which was already of very good quality. However, the Invictus series takes everything to the next level. No doubt more expensive, but if you really want to get to the top, there is no alternative to the Invictus series. I must point out one unique aspect: Ricable allows you to return your cables as long as you buy a higher series. A service no other manufacturer offers.
