The following review of the Supreme HDMI MKII cable is the result of theRicable Review initiative. Had an AQ Cinnamin 48 HDMI cable that was too bright in my system. Heard about the superior sonics of the RiCable Supreme MKII "I²S Optimized" HDMI cable from U-Tuber Rob Chambon (in his LAIV Harmony µDDC review)! Ordered and was delivered in 2 days (Italy to my USA front door)... amazing service!!!
and aesthetics of the product?
Packaging is first class, shipment was quick, and arrival was very swift. The HDMI / I²S 5m Supreme MKII cable is well designed, constructed and solidly built. Flexibility is very good, as I have a tight turn radius of 50 mm (µDAC stacked on top the µDDC) for the HDMI connection installs. My prior HDMI cable was not an I²S protocol design and displayed a sonic brightness and at times, edginess to the high frequency response.
Spent several hours in 3 listening sessions comparing this RiCable Supreme MKII cable to my previous HDMI cables from: AQ Cinnamon 48 Silver cable, a high definition Cratree cable, and a high definition Monoprice cable. With several genres of well recorded acoustical, vocal, instrumental and percussive music in my highly resolving audio system, the Supreme MKII clearly a Sonically Superior I²S Cable in all aspects of recorded music playback!
listening impressions?
The RiCable Supreme MKII I²S cable has cured all fatiguing, irritating, and harsh sounding characteristics of the previous AQ cable (at 1/2 the price)! The Supreme II sonics offers silky highs, open midrange and absolutely no hint of stridency, edginess, or brightness... just glorious top-to-bottom, wide-open holographic soundstage and musical presentations!!! Bass has become better defined, with faster impacts, deeper responses, and more tuneful pitch recognition. Overall, musical presentations and holographics are more natural and alive, with better accuracy and precision in vocal and instrumental transients and timbres!
Your conclusions.
Suffice to say, I am very pleased with the performance, quality and warranty (lifetime) of this HDMI (I²S) RiCable. With gold plated connectors, pure copper signal cabling, independent clocking cable integrity (I²S), substantial RF and EMI insulator protections, and removal HDMI connector jackets, I find this RiCable not only has great sonic benefits and feature sets, but also offers a tremendous dollar value to the Audiophile!!!

I had an AQ Cinnamin 48 HDMI cable that was too bright in my system. I heard about the superior audio quality of the RiCable Supreme MKII "I²S Optimized" HDMI cable from U-Tube user Rob Chambon (in his review of the LAIV Harmony µDDC)! I ordered it and it was delivered in 2 days (from Italy to my doorstep in the US)... amazing service!!!

The packaging is first class, shipping was prompt, and arrival was very quick. The 5 m HDMI / I²S Supreme MKII cable is well designed, constructed, and solid. Flexibility is very good as I have a small bend radius of 50 mm (µDAC over µDDC) for installations with HDMI connection. My previous HDMI cable was not designed with I²S protocol and had a sonic brightness and, at times, a somewhat edgy high-frequency response.
I spent several hours over 3 listening sessions comparing this RiCable Supreme MKII cable with my previous HDMI cables: an AQ Cinnamon 48 Silver cable, a Cratree high-definition cable, and a Monoprice high-definition cable. With several genres of acoustic, vocal, instrumental and percussive music well recorded in my high-resolution sound system, the Supreme MkII clearly proved to be a sonically superior I²S cable in all aspects of recorded music reproduction!

The RiCable Supreme MKII I²S cable has eliminated all the fatiguing, irritating and harsh sound characteristics of the previous (half-price) AQ cable! The sound of the Supreme II offers silky highs, open mids, and no hint of squeal, jitters, or brightness...just a holographic soundstage and glorious, wide, open musical presentations from top to bottom!!! Bass became more defined, with quicker impacts, deeper responses, and more melodic tone recognition. Overall, musical presentations and holographies are more natural and alive, with better accuracy and precision in vocal and instrumental transients and timbres!

Suffice it to say that I am very pleased with the performance, quality and (lifetime) warranty of this RiCable HDMI (I²S) cable. With gold-plated connectors, INTERCONNECT pure copper cabling, independent clocking (I²S) cable integrity, substantial RF and EMI isolation protections, and removable HDMI connector sleeves, I find that this RiCable cable not only offers great sonic benefits and functionality, but also offers incredible value for money for audiophiles!!!
