The following review of the Primus Signal cable is the result of the "Ricable " initiative. Ricable is a program created by Ricable to gather feedback from audiophilesin order to continuously improve the products in its catalog. The following feedback was based on a predefined questionnaire to which the user responded with their impressions, in a completely freely. We thank Gianluca for his time.

What made you choose Ricable?

I was looking for an INTERCONNECT cable INTERCONNECT came across this Italian company. I saw several reviews on YouTube that convinced me to take a closer look and visit the Ricablewebsite Ricablethe aesthetics, the attention to detail in the construction, and the warranty offered by the company convinced me to try the cables they create.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics of the product?

Right from the start, you realize that you are getting something that is well made and carefully crafted down to the smallest detail. Even from the packaging, as soon as it arrives, you can tell that Ricable good Ricable . The cable is sturdy and well built, aesthetically beautiful and elegant... it's a treat for the eyes too. The cable connection to the amplifier and source is very secure; once you plug them in, they stay put.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

I selected three tracks and, using the old cable, I listened to them while waiting for my system to warm up so that I could pick out the most important parts of the tracks I had chosen for this test. When it was time to install Ricable RCA Primus, I decided to play the newly connected cable for about an hour (JUST TO LET IT WORK A LITTLE), without paying much attention, and only then did I focus on the tracks I had chosen earlier.

What were your
listening impressions?

I listened carefully to my three tracks, the ones I had chosen previously, and immediately noticed that the bass had changed significantly, an unexpected improvement, much more present, fuller but also more controlled... a nice feeling; especially in the details, still in the low range, some instruments were less "muddy."
The soundstage had also changed, it had opened up, everything was wider and more enveloping. I found more than I expected in terms of gain with these cables. In fact, with this purchase, I discovered that simply changing a single cable revolutionizes everything. You perceive details that you didn't perceive as wrong before, but they were (referring to the previous expression "muddy").

Your conclusions.

I can only recommend this cable and this company. The improvement in audio quality exceeded my expectations, considering that I purchased what is considered an entry-level product for the company, and I hope to upgrade to the higher-end line in the future. Well-made, sturdy, refined, and elegant products. I will definitely keep Ricable a reference point for my next upgrades.
