What made you choose Ricable?

Reviews on the internet, then real tests done at my home buying one at a time the various cables Ricable, both power and INTERCONNECT. The cables I have are Dedalus, power and signal, and Magnus, also both power and signal. The INTERCONNECT cables are all RCA, except for an XLR cable that connects the Cambridge Audio CXN.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics
of the product?

Perfect and very elegant packaging, sturdy but very flexible cables, both the power and RCA cables , attractive aesthetics, very well made connectors with a secure grip. The cables are very big but not scary, they bend well and can be slipped into every little crevice without problems.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

I had already done a review, but the system was not fully wired Ricable and was not the same as it is now. I changed the Audio Research tube amp from VT60 to VS110 and added another amp, Mark Levinson No. 29, previously connected with its original XLR cable Carmac preamp side, now replaced with Dedalus RCA cable and Carmac adapters.

What were your
listening impressions?

Now that the whole system is wired Ricable, the sound is much warmer, very deep bass and, as I said at the time, the thing that struck me most was the silence, the absence of any harmonics useless to the sound, detail at the highest level, soundstage that lifted frighteningly (I think, however, thanks also to the two new amps). The Mark Levinson connected with its cable was extremely detailed, almost cold, changing cable to the Dedalus added a warmth to the almost tube-like sound that envelops you even at maximum volumes. The VS110 amp is a delight to the ears, and changing the power cord has acquired a much deeper and more controlled bass. Dynamics are excellent, as if the power cords Ricable brought more power, I don't know but it seems that way.

Your conclusions.

I am very pleased with the wiring Ricable, I have never tried more expensive cables, but in my opinion they are at the top (they are not cheap, to wire everything I swooned there ran away another amp), but they are worth all the money spent and also much, much more. I must also thank the owner for the immense helpfulness.
