The following review of the INTERCONNECT Magnus Signal cable is the result of the "Try a Ricable" initiative, which was created, in collaboration with listening groups or Hi-Fi forums, to collect testimonials from from the real listening experience of users, in their own reference Hi-Fi system.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which the user returned their impressions, in a completely free.
We thank Riccardo for his time.

Construction and aesthetics. Did the cable feel solid and attractive?

As soon as you open the very sturdy and aesthetically impeccable package, the cable is very well assembled, aesthetically very appealing. Well constructed cable, perhaps a tad hard to insert into the RCAs.

How did you run the tests to find differences?

The test was carried out alternating between my QED cable and Ricable. The chain I tested on consists of Naim SUPERNAIT 2 amplifier and Naim ND5 XS Streamer.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

The Magnus cable returns a precise sound with a focused soundstage. Full-bodied but not redundant bass tones. My only note is on the mid-high tones, which I found too harsh and poorly separated for my taste. The comparison was made with my QED Reference 40. In fact, I preferred to make the comparison with a cable of the same price for a fairer judgment.
Tracks used: Diana Krall, I Remember You, FLAC 24/96; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tin Pan Alley, DSD64; Dire Straits, You and Your Friend, FLAC 16/44.

diana krall the look of love
Mark Knopfler Dire Straits
Any differences from reference cables.
Have you encountered any?

I found less smoothness and musicality compared with my QED Reference 40.
