Review #33 - USB Cable Magnus - Ricable Review
I got to know Ricable a few years ago on forums and everyone spoke highly of it, so I decided to buy the cables first Speaker Magnus . What can I say, difference immediately perceived on the first track compared to other cables I had (like QED and Supra). Great cables, more open soundstage and good bass control. Then I needed a good cable for the DAC, I wondered if a simple USB cable could make a difference ... well, yes, the difference is clear, again the scene seems to me very well composed, treble well present to some more micro information, yes, it's there, so for me it remains the ultimate cable without spending crazy amounts of money.

and aesthetics of the product?
It is a good handcrafted product, and made with care, you can see it right from the packaging when you open it. The construction is impeccable, the quality of the materials used the result of no less than four screens, in my opinion this is what makes the difference. The aesthetics of the cable as always impeccable, beautifully crafted and very pleasant to the touch, the cable arrived in a beautiful box, with very comprehensive instructions. Excellent for both the connectors and the cable itself. And pleasing to the eye, looking at it I could see why it was so expensive. True value, quality and definition. There is better but you really have to spend crazy amounts of money, which is not the case in my opinion.
The test was done by connecting my DAC only as a preamp to the power amp with the cable Ricable, and one I already had. Conversely afterwards I connected them to the pure preamp. Needless to say, with the old cable I had the difference was very audible already from the first connection with just the DAC, then with the preamp the listening pleasure became even more palpable, I am satisfied.

listening impressions?
Well, the impressions were positive, after two, three tracks that I listen to frequently, I could ascertain the goodness of this cable with the old one I had. Definitely the quality of the materials used. Magnus USB has as many as four shields, perhaps that is where the difference is, good microdynamics, a little more microdetail, they are nuances, but they are all there, and only a good, well constructed cable can give them. With this Magnus it seems like the sound has opened up, all the instruments in place, really great. Highly recommended for anyone using a DAC and PC connection.
Your conclusions.
To recap, this is a good cable without spending crazy amounts of money, certainly there is always more good, but in my environment, with my electronics, it sounded good. In truth my whole system is wired Ricable, but the connection with my computer was wired with a quality cable but it was giving me little problems like buzzing and discharge, so I had the chance to try this cable. I still chose this company because I really like the care of the products and especially the care towards the customer. Oh, I forgot, let's not forget the lifetime warranty that Ricable offers to all products for sale in the catalog, and that is no small thing.
