Review #35 - Cable Magnus Speaker MKII - Ricable Review

I was told about them by an enthusiast friend like me who had purchased the Primus and told me that he had noticed the difference from previous cables, and I became intrigued and immediately explored the website at Ricable and was pleasantly impressed. I read all the descriptions regarding the cables in question, particularly the components, the thickness of the various materials, and was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the material with which the end contacts (the plugs) that went into the speakers were made, and at the last, considering my stereo system, I opted for the Magnus cable, which I found to be the most suitable for my type of system.
and aesthetics of the product?
I was looking for cables that were very flexible and of course of very good quality, since one of them had to go from one wall to the other having one of the speakers far from the amp and having to fit flush along the wall separating it from the system in question; well, I must say that despite the length and size of the cable (1.5 cm diameter) I was able to connect the cable with ease following the contours of the wall. Plus it gives a sturdy and solid feel.
To compare it with previous cables, I based it on listening to both jazz and classical and pop/rock music (my favorite). I then tried listening to the same with the different listening filters that my CD player has. For listening, I used both regular CDs and SACDs, both classical and rock.
listening impressions?
I began my listening with a jazz classic very dear to me, namely Miles Davis' Kind of Blue. What can I say! Left not saying open-mouthed but almost: not that I couldn't hear it well before, but now I could almost be there. The sound was crisp and clear, even the sound of the brushes and drum cymbals was crystal clear, not to mention the full-bodied but never obtrusive or exuberant bass. I then switched to Bach and the listening was smooth and crisp. Finally, I listened to Santana and Springsteen on SACD. I was delighted, I don't know what else to add honestly.
Your conclusions.
The Magnus MKII cable has excellently met all my highest expectations. It is truly a revelation, and then, if I have to say it all, I am delighted and proud to have in Italy an electronics factory on par with foreigners and even better. I repeat: the performance is outstanding, but what won me over was the clarity of the sound that makes each instrument stand out from the other, managing even in the most "loud" rock pieces TO DISTINGUISH CLEARLY.
