The following review of Dedalus Signal, Speaker and XLR cables (with black braiding) is the result of the "Ricable Review" initiative. Ricable Review is the program designed by Ricable, created to collect feedback from audiophiles, in order to lead to continuous improvement of the products in the catalog. Last but not least, those who join the program receive a certificate at home, with the purpose of certifying how the customer has become to all intents and purposes part of the " Ricable" family.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which the user returned their impressions, in a completely free. We thank Francis Xavier for his time.

What made you choose Ricable?

I was able to appreciate the build and sound quality (albeit of the Primus series) on two different occasions. Already the entry level series returned an impressive result and a tangible difference with previous wiring. Making a comparison with the previous setup, the result strongly enticed me to try the purchase of the Dedalus series .

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics
of the product?

Suffice it to say: made in Italy. Exceptional construction and packaging. Customization possibilities at the highest level. Aesthetically they are a real BOMB. In every detail you can appreciate the level of craftsmanship. From the materials to the silk-screening to the cable ties. Weight and sturdiness at the highest level. Connectors comfortable to hold and masterful in tightening.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

The audio test returned proverbial accuracy and an absolutely crystal-clear, three-dimensional sound image. The mid-high range is reproduced to its fullest potential. The bass restrained, never redundant but at the same time musical. Voices "sincere," precise and well placed on the musical stage. On the strings, the timbre evokes the construction material of the instruments' acoustic cases. High range present, crystal clear and never (never!) fatiguing.

What were your
listening impressions?

My listening references are: Michel Godard with Monteverdi: A Trace of Grace; Dire Straits with Love over Gold; Patricia Barber with Companion; Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Nils Lofgren, and so on. Right from the start, on the wind instruments I found more airiness and spatiality; correct timbre and impeccable placement of musical components; the voices crystal clear and elegant, central and from the emulative sound image of the stage. Bass present, strong, and never fatiguing. Overall, the soundstage is more accurate and three-dimensional. The overall image stands as a new listening reference.

Your conclusions.

Anyone who does not believe that attention to wiring marks the difference between a "before" and an "after" should seriously rethink their views. This top-of-the-line sister series fully expresses the potential of impressive construction and a focus on sound rather than mere current flow. In short, my already high-performing system was revealed in all its potential!
