Review #69 - Invictus Signal cable - Ricable Review
I have read some flattering reviews. I needed a cable to be considered definitive as a replacement for the albeit good Actinote MB83 purchased in 2004, part of my old system that I have completely replaced. An evolutionary upgrade to complete (I hope) my system that has been completely replaced in recent years. This cable represented the last surviving component.

and aesthetics of the product?
The cable presents itself well. Solid construction with optimal rigidity and fine detail aesthetics. The connections are of excellent quality with intuitive signal direction indication. The excellently made, elegant outer jacket with a slightly retro feel that I like. Although generally not visible, in my opinion aesthetics always have their value.
Replacing my old RCA cables with Invictus, I began listening with jazz tunes both instrumental only and also sung, then with classical and baroque music, pop, finishing then with rock (the real one from the 1970s and 1980s). All of which I was familiar with the musicality of through my system. Hours of careful listening taking advantage of those moments when I was alone in the house.

listening impressions?
Right away I noticed a greater soundstage, with the mid-high end more defined and detailed and the bass extremely controlled and balanced. It seems to have eliminated that bottleneck that I only imagined with the old cables. I still kept the Van den Hul The Mountain RCA cables connected between the McIntosh preamp and power amp. Vocals, especially female vocals , are more realistic. Drum brushes more defined and clear, in general a richness and completeness of detail that I did not notice before. All instruments, regardless of musical genre, are more in focus and well placed in the soundstage. Zero listening fatigue.
Your conclusions.
I must admit that choosing these cables was like a leap of faith, based on excellent reviews and after directly noting the seriousness and professionalism of this company. Definitely favorable value for money given the comparative results. My old cables I think I remember paying about 500 euros for them, back in 2004. A jump finished very well, a definitive choice for me to complete a process of upgrading my system. Highly recommended!
