Construction and aesthetics. Did the cable feel solid and attractive?

Definitely yes! The cable is aesthetically appealing and pleasing, returning a pleasant feeling of sturdiness and solidity.

How did you run the tests to find differences?

Yes, I ran the tests by connecting and disconnecting this cable and the other one I was using, which is an AudioQuest Golden Gate.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

I first used the cable to connect the Rega Planar 3 pre-phono to the Marantz PM8006, then to connect the REC output of the latter, with the Schiit Valhalla 2 amplifier. The sound is extremely linear, I had a pleasant feeling of transparency, and the ambience and three-dimensionality are also very good.

Any differences from reference cables.
Have you encountered any?

I believe that the Primus series is perfectly superimposable, as far as sound performance is concerned, probably because these are cables that belong to the same entry level segment; however, as far as build quality is concerned, I have to say that the Primus appears to be much better built, and appears much more solid and sturdy than the AudioQuest Golden Gate. Also the contacts are much firmer and there is more grip, more contact, so from my point of view, in the same segment, the Ricable are definitely to be preferred.

What did you enjoy?

- Really appealing exterior appearance
- Sensation of solidity
- Perfectly stable connections
- The cable does not color the sound, but is transparent

What would you improve?

- Nothing
