The Novara Football Club continues the tradition of Novara Calcio, founded in 1908, for what is the 30th best sports tradition in Italy. The legendary Silvio Piola played in Novara Calcio, after whom the stadium where Novara plays its home games is named. Silvio Piola is considered among the greatest center forwards in the history of Italian soccer and holds several records. The most important is that of top scorer in the Italian top league, despite a season missed due to World War II, with 290 goals scored.
But it's not just about sports. Ricable is committed to making a social and cultural contribution to Oleggio, helping to make it a Positive Impact City. This is in fact the title given to the projects implemented by PMG Italy, which specializes in initiatives based on social equity, common good and responsibility.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project focused on the local area, the "Villa Calini" Meeting Center Association can now count on an equipped vehicle with an electric platform usable by people with frailty and reduced mobility. In addition, students from OMAR Industrial Technical Institute will participate in a session on the topics of social responsibility, care for the environment and the most fragile people. Finally, they will engage in devising projects to be implemented in Oleggio to improve community sharing and quality of life.
