The digital audio connection is certainly a neuralgic contact between two digital components and for this reason it substantially characterizes the result of your Listening. The use of a low-level cable compromises the transmission of this signal, which is as valuable as it is delicate, with the manifestation of a whole series of problems typical of the digital connection: interference, dissonance, tonal flatness and metallic sound are just some of the defects that affect this delicate connection.
Magnus Coaxial has been a popular product since its debut because of its high value for money, so we thought we would upgrade it to make it even better at transferring digital signals. This additional upgrade, which is recognizable for products with the Mark II designation, does not result in a revolutionized or new product, but rather improved in its already good 75-ohm signal handling capability.
The improvements affect all compartments of the cable, starting with the conductor, which has been increased in size, through the dielectric, which in digital coaxial cables is crucial, to the shields, which are very important for shielding the signal, but which must not conflict with the signal passing through the cable.
- DESIGN: Magnus Coaxial MKII brings forward great transmission accuracy and greatly improves impedance stability, so as to ensure more precise digital transport.
- SOLID CORE CONDUCTOR: Solid-Core conductor made of 99.999% OFC copper increases by more than 25% and is now 1.13 mm2 to ensure more effective signal transmission.
- INSULATION and SHIELDING: The digital signal is very sensitive to impedance fluctuations, so we have designed an even better-performing material, which in combination with the increased conductor provides more than 30% greater stability than the previous cable. The complex shielding system has also been improved to provide 20% more coverage than the predecessor.
- COPPER/TELLURIUM CONNECTORS 20% better than BRASS: Connectors with contacts made entirely of Copper/Tellurium. With these connectors there is an improvement in electrical parameters of more than 20% over common brass connectors. 24K Gold plated with specific electrolysis technique.
Magnus Coaxial MKII is produced with truly specific technical dictates. Today, every step of production is done totally by hand, and manic checks on each individual part consist of meticulous human inspection through the use of new tools and new testing procedures.
This attention to detail has enabled this upgrade to improve the control and cleanliness of listening, allowing the audio converter to work more precisely than before and, as a result, improve the musicality of your favorite songs.
This Hi-Fi cable is made strictly by hand, in an artisanal manner, so we can also produce it in custom length, exactly as you would like it for your system.
