Primus Speaker MKII, as of today is shielded.
Primus Speaker changes its skin and in conjunction with an aesthetic makeover, is further improved with the inclusion of an Aluminum/Mylar shielding before the outer sheath. This further upgrade that is recognizable for products with the Mark II designation, does not result in a revolutionized or new product, however improved in its already excellent performance.
The applied shielding allows for significantly improved protection from EMI/RFI interference that can creep into the cable Speaker on the delicate journey from the amplifier to the acoustic speakers. In addition to this aspect, we also improved dielectric and insulation to optimize the effectiveness of the shield.
Ricable Speaker is a product handmade in Italy, and in addition to providing a significantly higher level of care than industrial cables, it allows it to be customized according to one's needs, for example:

MARC CONDUCTOR +70%: Thanks to the 3.1 mm2 copper 7N MARC (Multicore Annealed Ricable Conductor) conductors with strands 0.12 mm smoother and more compact surface, the signal transmission Speaker is 70% better than OFC Copper and this results in superior transparency, a more balanced and characterized soundstage and precise control.
GEOMETRY: The Twisted with 340 wires per PE insulated conductor. Extra flexible outer sheath with protective braid. Reduced inductance benefits an ever-improving listening experience. Solder-free contacts ensure the purest possible contact.
INSULATION: Isolation from sources of interference is provided by Mylar and Aluminum shielding, Polyethylene dielectrics, and a thick sheath that protects the cable even mechanical stress and weathering.
CONNECTORS: The connectors are gold-plated to Banana BFA and have 50% higher mechanical contact capacity, compared to stripped cable or standard banana plugs.

The Primus Speaker MKII seemed to me to be much more balanced over all ranges, a true full range. The thing that surprised me so much was the neutrality of the sound but at the same time hearing the music I think unmodified from the specifications in the recording room.
These cables bring my system back to the usual levels to which I am now accustomed, in terms of scene size and sense of perspective, giving body to the protagonists and scanning the depth with a pleasant presence effect.
That feeling of slightly lower bass output has vanished to be replaced by the understanding of having with the PS3s greater realism of the instruments, a superior ability to engage with the musical message, and the possibility, something I doubted at these levels and who even surprised me, of picking up some details I had not heard so distinctly before!

Premise:As a high fidelity enthusiast I decided to purchase the Primus Speaker to use it in the Hometheater field in Wharfedale Diamond front speaker connections.Comparing it with li cheap stripped cables that I continue to use for surround speakers the soundtrack performance finally seems to me to live up to the cinematic and exciting context.

In the HiFi system I own the reference cable Invictus Speaker that connects the McIntosh MC275 power amp to the omnidirectional Duevel Bella Luna Diamond speakers;without further ado the scene recreated by the speakers is as close as possible to the live event and thanks to the adoption of the cables invictus the always detailed music is as if detached from the voices that remain sharp.
So I tried to insert the primus cable in the system instead of the invicus and I was pleasantly surprised by the performance: if at the level of detail and size of the soundstage I noticed differences the Primus cable I really liked its performance overall without weaknesses that I could expect such as bass response etc.
Kudos indeed for the quality offered at this price!

Here I am to say my two cents about the products Ricable: Let me preface this by saying that until now I had been using low-profile cables for sources and stripped cables for speakers.
I then purchased Primus Speaker and Primus Signal, and connected them to my new Yamaha A-S2200 integrated amplifier and Yamaha CD-S2100 SACD.
As soon as the CD started, I felt like I was entering a new dimension, experiencing music firsthand. High and low tones well defined, music scene satisfying and never distorted. Musical details and timbres that I could not hear before now come alive and enhance the whole thing.
I am really satisfied with these cables, and we are talking about the basic model, if you can call it that. I highly recommend them, you will not regret them. Thank you Ricable!!!!!
