The following review of the Invictus Speaker Reference cable is the result of an initiative born with the collaboration of the French Facebook group 'Audiophile francophone et haute-fidélité'. The initiative was created to collect feedback from audiophilesin order to bring about a continuous improvement of the products in the catalogue. Audiophiles received their chosen cable at home and had thirty days to perform as many tests as they deemed appropriate. At the end of this period, audiophiles could decide whether to keep the cable or return it at no cost.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which users returned their impressions, in a manner completely free. We thank Ludovic for his time.
Construction simple avec une bonne apparence. La construction est plus que sérieuse, le câble est assez conséquent en diamètre. Le système d'attaque des câbles par banane avec baïonnette assure une bonne fixation.
Même si sur mes enceintes Vimberg un diamètre de la fiche banane un poil plus épais aurait été idéal. Mais globalement ça tient et on s'en le sérieux de la construction de se câble sur ce point c'est un 4,5/5.
Concernant la restitution sonre un aigu et un médium qui file très haut mais très neutre et ultra précis rendant les voix magiques que ce soit sur du classique du pop rock ou du hip hop.
Le grave descend très bien et est également très détaillé, je note juste que sur le plan est légèrement en retrait vis a vis du médium aigu, rien de méchant mais cela ma un peu déstabilisé au départ certainement trop habitué au rendu de mes Wireworld qui vont moins loin sur les étages, mais qui met le grave un peu plus en avant.
A noter que ce phénomène apparaît sur les sources numériques DAC esoteric et CD SACD esoteric mais disparaît complètement sur les sources analogique sur platine vinyle acoustic signature MKII le grave y reprend sa place.
J'ai fait plusieurs test et je suis incapable d'expliquer ce phénomène.
Encore une fois je pense simplement que mon Wireworld a tendance a projeter un peu le grave ou le restituer différemment. La scène sonore est très cohérente. La spatialisation est excellente et le placement des divers instruments très précis plus qu'avec mon câble.
L'attaque de note est ici très bonne, très rapide on s'en clairement que le câble ne crée pas de résistance que la musique y est fluide et que l'amp peu s'exprimer très fort and très précisément.
Oui je recommande ce câble a 100% pour ceux qui veulent une écoute très détaillée très neutre et très précise.
Encore une fois la restitution de chaque détail chaque intonation y est ultra précise et rapide, la musique coule de l'ampli au oreille sans bridage et le son s'épanouit comme une fleur. Une très très belle réussite avec une fabrication exemplaire!

Simple construction with good looks. The construction is more than serious, the cable has a fairly large diameter. The banana cable connection system with bayonet guarantees a good fastening.
Although on my Vimberg speakers a slightly thicker banana plug diameter would have been ideal. But overall it holds and we are serious about the construction of the cable, on this point it is a 4.5/5.
As far as sound reproduction is concerned, a treble and midrange that goes very high but very neutral and ultra-precise make the vocals magic in both classic pop rock and hip hop.
The bass goes down very well and is also very detailed, I just notice that on the piano it is slightly set back compared to the high mids, nothing wrong with that but at first it unsettled me a little, certainly too used to the performance of my Wireworlds which go less far, but which put the bass a little further forward.
Note that this phenomenon appears on esoteric DAC digital sources and esoteric SACD CDs but disappears completely on analogue sources, on MKII turntables the bass takes its place.
I have done several tests and cannot explain this phenomenon.
Again, I just think that my Wireworld tends to project the bass a bit or play it differently. The soundstage is very cohesive. The spatialisation is very good and the positioning of the various instruments very precise, more so than with my cable.
The note attack here is very good, very fast, it is clear that the cable does not create resistance, that the music is fluid and that the amplifier can express itself very loudly and very precisely.
Yes, I recommend this cable 100% for those who want very detailed, very neutral and very precise listening.
Again, the reproduction of every detail, every intonation are ultra precise and fast, the music flows from the amplifier to the ear without restriction and the sound blooms like a flower. A great success with exemplary production!
