The following review of the cable Invictus Power is the result of the "Ricable Review" initiative. Ricable Review is the program designed by Ricable, created to collect feedback from audiophiles, in order to bring about continuous improvement of the products in the catalog. Last but not least, those who join the program receive a certificate at home, with the purpose of certifying how the customer has become for all intents and purposes part of the " Ricable" family.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which the user returned their impressions, in a manner completely free. We thank Fabio for his time.

What made you choose Ricable?

I have been a Hi-Fi enthusiast for more than forty years and have always been very attracted to cables, so about two years ago I came across the Ricable website and was exceptionally well impressed by the way the site itself is structured and how meticulously every possible piece of information is reported on the entire production, both the detail for the neophyte and the most interesting technical data for the specialized connoisseur. This made me try the products starting with the entry level line; nowadays I have tried them all and am happy owner of the complete set of the top of the line Invictus.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics of the product?

The construction and aesthetics of the products are truly appealing, well made, fine and sturdy; there is substance and not just smoke as in other "exotic" offerings, plus the refinement of the packaging is as good as can be expected, products conceived as premium regardless of their location in the market.

How did you carry out the tests? Which songs did you use to test the cable?

The test was done by comparing an indefinite selection of tracks (rock, pop , classical, jazz, singer-songwriters, etc.), I never dwell on only two or three tracks but conduct the comparison for a few days usually (it remains a much larger sonic memory having the necessary listening skills, and I being also a musician am facilitated). The cable I had before (or rather, the cables because they were the source one, the SACD one and the one feeding the mains filter) were Ricable Magnus MKII (moreover, excellent compared to the stock cables) and the new ones, precisely the Ricable Invictus Power .

What were your
listening impressions?

Astonishing result to say the least... I couldn't believe it... more decisive than the loudspeaker cable... Increased dynamics, halved noise floor, the "sonic blackness" extremely perceptible, that is, the silence between the instruments that increases their contrast, low range much more contoured and firm, precise and deep, the high range acquires more air and thus expands the soundstage, it seems that the system sounds louder, the three-dimensionality expands, in short a wonder, the cable where I perceived the most tangible effect of all. I wanted to add that even the cable that feeds the separator filter from the mains did its part and I couldn't help myself--really amazing.

Your conclusions.

In conclusion I can only recommend this Netzkabel to all those who want to give new life to their electronics, especially to power amps Speaker or integrated amps, of whatever value they are, I tried out of curiosity the cable even on a 590 euro integrated amp, that is less than the cable, and it seemed to have put the turbo, a completely different power supply behavior, more solid bass, more evident dynamics, sharper bass range, clearer detail. Obviously the product is aimed at objects of very high stature, but in my opinion it can lift the sound of many intermediate electronics by several quality steps as well.

- Performance
- Aesthetics
- High price but not too much compared to the best competition
-

What would you improve?

- If it were up to me, I would put the color red in the tip line Invictus instead of light blue
