I recently added the Cambridge Audio CXC Series 2 Black Edition CD transport to my system and needed a good digital coaxial Hi-Fi cable. Having already bought and enjoyed Ricable products (I am a happy owner of a Primus Speaker MKII cable), I had no doubts about where to buy coaxial cable and so I immediately ordered Primus Coaxial - Digital Coaxial Hi-Fi Cable 75 ohm RCA in the size of 0.5 meters sufficient for my needs.
and aesthetics of the product?
As already appreciated a few months ago when purchasing the Speaker Primus Speaker MKII cables, the quality of workmanship is evident right from the package containing the Primus Coaxial - Hi-Fi Coaxial Digital 75 ohm RCA cable, the latter is well made, very solid and carefully housed in the box.
All I did for testing was to insert a series of CDs well known to me, and I played them for quite some time trying to catch nuances and details in the reproduced sound image. The result was always excellent, and the result obtained convinced me more and more of the choice made.
listening impressions?
Also with this cable I have listened to several compact discs of groups well known to me: Steely Dan - Aja, Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, Dire Straits - eponymous, Talking Heads - Talking Heads: 77, The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys, Bob Dylan - Slow Train Coming, Rage Against The Machine - XX, J.J. Cale - Naturally, Van Morrison - Too Long in Exile and the listening has always been very convincing. Particularly listening to Aja (a record very dear to me as a listening test tool) struck me particularly with the attention to sonic detail returned.
Your conclusions.
To conclude my review, I can tell you that, once again, I am very satisfied with my purchase with Ricable and their product again allows me to listen to my favorite music at the top. I will never stop recommending it to Hi-Fi enthusiasts and not who are willing to invest in a good product that will give satisfaction for time to come.
