What made you choose Ricable?

I decided to renew my whole Hi-Fi system. I needed something new, and to improve the quality. Also the accessories. Many things are new to me. Then someone mentions cables to me. Let's talk about them. But there is little knowledge in the store. I know more by accessing the internet, and comparing on social. Lots of brands and models but I was struck by Ricable, because of the pictures of its products and because it is an Italian company. Good online support as well.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics
of the product?

Very fast in handling order and shipping. Nice packaging and appreciated the care in packaging. I feel I can say that there is care for the environment in the choice of packaging materials. Nice and well-maintained cables. I like the protective sleeves, and the connectors with the factory logo in red and black to distinguish polarity are not to be outdone.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

This is the most difficult part. I listened to the same tracks several times, both from the CD player and via Bluetooth, swapping cables several times. I drew my own conclusions. For certainty, I involved a family member in the tests, unbeknownst to him. Well we came to the same conclusions, and that makes me very happy.

What were your
listening impressions?

Starting with the fact that I had supermarket cables, for Primus Signal it was not difficult. I dusted off several CDs: Queen, Sting, Tracy Chapman, Fabrizio De André, and some classical music. Then via Bluetooth I tapped into liquid music, looking for live versions. Depending on the various tracks, I tried to focus on the vocals and instruments. I noticed without much effort a better audio quality and cleaner sound. For the Primus Speaker cables, which replaced normal OFC copper cables, after the first hours of break-in (a practice that not everyone shares), the enhancement of vocals and a reduction in the mid-highs was evident. The 'effect smoothed out, being more pleasant, by lifting the cables off the ground. Pleasant to discover new small details, from my tracks, that I did not perceive before.

Your conclusions.

Did I make a good purchase? Of course you did. Could I have spent more by getting the Magnus series ? Absolutely. Never say never. To those who told me to "not spend money on stupid cables," well, I'm sorry: you were wrong. I wanted more quality, that's it. It is a good experience. It gave me a pleasant feeling. I am satisfied with it. I recommend these cables as a first step to good listening.
