The following review of Magnus cables is the result of the "Ricable Review" initiative. Ricable Review is the program designed by Ricable, created to collect feedback from audiophiles, in order to lead to continuous improvement of the products in the catalog. Last but not least, those who join the program receive a certificate at home, with the purpose of certifying how the customer has become to all intents and purposes part of the " Ricable" family.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which the user returned his impressions, in a completely free. We thank Roberto for his time.

What made you choose Ricable?

It is well known that cable quality is crucial in a Hi-Fi system; any system, even a Hi-End, without quality cables, cannot express its true potential. It is like having a super sports car and equipping it with bad tires. Well aware of this, I decided to invest some money in quality cables. I searched the Internet for the various products available on the market and read a few reviews. In my search I found Ricable which, being an Italian brand, immediately got my attention. I carefully read through the various features of all their products, from Hi-End to entry level, and finally decided to trust them; let's just say that the first purchase was a leap of faith.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics
of the product?

The first thing that struck me once I unwrapped the package, is the beautiful box containing the cables/tokens, very well cared for, both in terms of graphics and material, in short it is not the usual cardboard box made on the cheap. As for the cables, what can I say, they are beautiful to look at, and as soon as you pick them up you immediately understand the level of build quality. The connectors are a sight to behold, they have an exceptional tightening system, in fact they have an outer shell that has to be unscrewed before inserting the connector and then screwed back on to tighten the ground rings, really fine workmanship.

How did you carry out the tests? What tracks did you use to test the cable?

Once I had all the cables set up and made all the necessary connections, I began, for my listening test, with songs with a level recording and that I know perfectly, such as Private Investigations by Dire Straits; I then continued my listening test with songs that would make me appreciate the quality of the bass, such as The Sea by ARY.

What were your
listening impressions?

Let me preface this by saying that I do not consider myself to be an experienced and refined audiophile, and I do not think I am up to the task of being able to give a level review. The only thing I can do is to report what I perceived compared to when my system sounded with the cables that came with the purchase of the various components. The thing that impressed me the most and that I perceived better was the so-called sound staging, in the sense that now I can better locate from where that given instrument or voice is reproduced, I don't know how to explain, I would say that the soundstage is more centered.

Your conclusions.

I am very satisfied with my investment. When I purchased the cables Ricable, as I have already said, it was a leap in the dark and honestly a little fear that I had spent money in vain, but after listening I breathed a sigh of relief, so much so that I will soon complete my "cable park" by purchasing power cables, which are now the only accessories Ricable that I lack.

What did you enjoy?

- Staging
- Aesthetics
- Value for money
-

What would you improve?

- Nothing to report

Good morning, I would like to say to Roberto C. that.
the plane where they support lle sorgrnti and it seems to me also the electronics, is itself an amplifier of the waves emitted by the speakers, thus defeating, radically, any good intention. Am I wrong ?

Hi Claudio, you actually have a point, but I think in this case Mr. Roberto had to compromise with the room available and the placement of all the electroacoustics in the room. As you can see, he has worked out solutions to minimize reverberations in the room. Among other things, the loudspeakers are well spaced from the back wall, with good decoupling from the floor, and with not too large a liter. We will bring your comment to Mr. Roberto's attention, and if you wish, he can respond to you directly, because this is our interpretation.
