The following review of the Dedalus XLR cable is the result of an initiative with the collaboration of the French Facebook group 'Audiophile francophone et haute-fidélité'. The initiative was created to collect feedback from audiophilesin order to bring about a continuous improvement of the products in the catalogue. Audiophiles received their chosen cable at home and had thirty days to perform as many tests as they deemed appropriate. At the end of this period, audiophiles could decide whether to keep the cable or return it at no cost.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which users returned their impressions, in a manner completely free. We thank Olivier for his time.
Câble avec une excellente présentation, esthétique parfaite, c'est un câble très luxueux. L'emballage est solide, la présentation générale reflète la qualité, le câble est doux, souple et très facile à installer. Les connexions sont solides et de bonne qualité. C'est un câble qui dans la présentation est la hauteur de ses ambitions.
J'ai associé ces câbles aux Dedalus Speaker, comparés aux câbles XLR de base bas de gamme, l'association avec les Dedalus Speaker est parfaite. En effet j'ai fait des essais successifs avec les Dedalus Speaker à savoir:
- Dedalus XLR + speaker câble de base
- Deux XLR de base + Dedalus Speaker
- Trois Dedalus XLR + Dedalus Speaker
- Quatre XLR de base + câble speaker de base
J'ai fait plusieurs écoutes avec des styles différents.
L'association avec les Dedalus Speaker est fabuleuse, les timbres sont clairs et naturels, l'imagine sonore gagne en spatialisation, on a l'impression d'être à un concert "live". Les instruments sont idéalement placés. Des angles extrêmes aux basses profondes, tout est représenté, rien ne manque. Une très belle association, je pense continuer à explorer la série Dedalus.

Il est difficile de le comparer avec un autre XLR haut de gamme, je pars très doucement car j'avais des XLR de première classe comme base, donc effectivement la différence est frappante. Tout est présent, déjà les Dedalus Speaker avait nettement amélioré l'écoute dans tous les domainesmais avec les Dedalus XLR, les speaker développent leurs subtilités et leur précision. Cette association est quasiment indispensable.

Cable with an excellent presentation, perfect aesthetics, it is a very luxurious cable. The packaging is solid, the overall presentation reflects the quality, the cable is soft, flexible and very easy to install. The connections are solid and of good quality. It is a cable that lives up to its ambitions in presentation.
I paired these cables with Dedalus Speaker, compared to low-end XLR cables, basically, the coupling with the speaker Dedalus is perfect. In fact, I made subsequent tests with the Dedalus Speaker, namely:
- Dedalus XLR + basic speaker cable
- Two basic XLR + Dedalus Speaker
- Three Dedalus XLR + Dedalus Speaker
- Four XLR + speaker base cables
I did several listens with different styles.
The combination with the Dedalus Speaker is fabulous, the timbres are clear and natural, the sound image gains in spatialisation, it feels like being at a live concert. Instruments are ideally positioned. From the extreme corners to the deep bass, everything is represented, nothing is missing. A very nice combination, I think I will continue to explore the Dedalus series.

It's hard to compare it with another high-end XLR, I had first-class XLRs as a base, so the difference is noticeable. Everything is there, already the Dedalus Speaker had clearly improved listening in all areasbut with the Dedalus XLR the speakers develop their subtleties and precision. This combination is almost indispensable.
