The following review of the Primus Speaker MKII cable is the result of the "Ricable Review" initiative. Ricable Review is the program designed by Ricable, created to collect feedback from audiophiles, in order to bring about continuous improvement of the products in the catalog. Last but not least, those who join the program receive a certificate at home, with the purpose of certifying how the customer has become for all intents and purposes part of the " Ricable" family.
The following Feedback was created on the basis of a predefined questionnaire to which the user returned their impressions, in a manner completely free. We thank Roberto for his time.

What made you choose Ricable?

I chose Ricable because of the reputation it has earned over the years, evidenced in dozens of online reviews and mentions in specialized forums. After seeing pictures of the product and reading about its technical features, I almost made up my mind. Breaking the final delay was the possibility of trying the product at home for sixty days and returning it if it did not meet expectations.

What do you think about the construction
and aesthetics of the product?

The construction is impeccable, both in terms of the materials used and the assembly. Immediately, the cable conveys a feeling of sturdiness. My cables are banana terminated, and the quality of these is exceptional. The grip inside the bushings is tenacious and secure. But Ricable cables are not only well made, they are also very aesthetically pleasing and help give our system that serious, professional look we so enjoy.

How did you carry out the tests? Which songs did you use to test the cable?

I took advantage of the dual outputs of my amplifier to connect the speakers simultaneously with Primus Speaker MKII and my old cables: SUPRA Ply 2.0. In this way I did not have to rely on memory for listening impressions, but simply by operating the switch between outputs A and B of the amplifier, I could have an immediate comparison. I tried a variety of musical programs, from jazz to rock/pop and classical music, using both high-end recordings and decidedly bad recordings.

What were your
listening impressions?

I must say, unfortunately, that the cables Ricable, although they won my total confidence, did not affect the final result in any way. The sound emitted by my speakers is absolutely indistinguishable in switching from A to B. The sound of the Ricable is as beautiful, clear, full-bodied and extended as was that of the cables in my possession. By this I do not mean to say that all cables are the same, but certainly the ones I chose have nothing different from the ones I already owned.

Your conclusions.

Now I am torn: on the one hand, I would like to use the right of withdrawal and thus return the product and get my money back, perhaps to try others with superior features, even though the cost of the next model is already out of the budget for me; on the other hand, to keep them, simply because they sound good, have impeccable construction, and are also darn good to look at!
