The following review of the Dedalus Speaker MKII cable is the result of the "Ricable Review" initiative. Switching from bi-wiring and the four big Linn cables of 30 years ago to the simple connection I looked for a replacement with quality cable and, preferring domestic products, I could not help noticing in magazines and on the web the advertisements of Ricable. Searching then for reviews and impressions, all the reviews were extremely positive, even on Amazon excellent reviews, so I bought an inexpensive INTERCONNECT cable and when I could use it I was immediately impressed by the quality and moved on to the major purchase directly on the site Ricable, taking advantage of the 5% discount for subscribing to the newsletter.
and aesthetics of the product?
Packaging, packing and construction impeccable in their simplicity and practicality, fantastic both the lifetime warranty and the possibility of upgrades, the customer feels pampered and gratified for the consideration received. For cables Speaker perhaps the spades, though less convenient, might ensure a better connection than the bananas, but I preferred maximum convenience.
I compared, starting from different sources between vinyl, CD and high definition liquid music, the various cables for quite some time not stopping at the first impression. The cables were taken out and replaced each time; the music heard was all of great quality and definition, the difference I must say can be heard although they are nuances and require careful listening, there is not the same difference as there is for example between different DACs or between tubes and transistors... but there is!
listening impressions?
I listen to chamber music and early music, go to concerts as soon as I can, Händel's Messiah, Brandenburg Concertos, Händel's Resurrection, Sigismund D'India: Madrigals, Arias and Ballets then operas such as Magic Flute, various editions including vinyl, CD and high definition liquid music.
The sound is airy, clear, open, relaxed and soothing, never aggressive, voices detailed and precise, real scene wide and voices beyond the speakers. I noticed cleaner and clearer detail and wider scene, great result also due to Furutech NCF Booster Signal! Thank you Ricable reliable and accurate.
Your conclusions.
I would say that the improvement and quality in the sense of listening pleasure are very good, the product then is beautiful and well made, the connections very reliable; right from the packaging that from the fast shipping everything was perfect and extremely satisfactory. I would recommend these products to all audiophile friends.
